About us

Vintage Ship Models online shop is a trading entity of our parent company - Sirius Marine , which was established in Waterford, Ireland in 2004, supplying chandlery and marine services to the local boating community.  In 2006, we began trading in a range of quality Nauticalia and Model Ships.  This site has been setup to focus on supplying our range of Vintage Ship Models throughout Europe to the customer who is looking for something special.

The business is owned and run by Danny and Patricia Devine, and in early 2016, we decided to relocate to the lovely and sunny town of Denia, on the Mediterranean coast of Spain.

This business began through our lifelong interest in all things maritime.  As experienced sailors with a love of history, we have fallen in love with these models.  The quality is superb.  We hope that within our model ship collection you will find the one for you.  

Our Classic Ship Models are sourced directly from the manufacturers, and most are hand crafted from hardwoods using the plank on frame method of construction.  The models are then completed using up to 5 coats of lacquer to give a premium finish.
